Irena's Vow

Irenas Vow follows the story of Irena Gut, a 19-year-old who becomes a housekeeper in the home of a highly respected Nazi officer in Poland. Discovering that the Jewish ghetto is about to be liquidated, she decides to help 12 Jewish workers by hiding them in the safest place she can think of - the officers basement. Over the next eight months, Irena uses her wit, humor, and immense courage to conceal her longest-standing friends. The film features talented actors such as Sophie Nélisse, Dougray Scott, Andrzej Seweryn, and more under the skillful direction of Louise Archambault.
